Before joining RGS, Sophocles was a data scientist at Capita, where he worked on numerous analytics projects, providing insights and recommendations to clients. He was then appointed to lead the analytics team of the Capita Procurement Function. He holds an MSc from the London School of Economics where he focused on econometric methods and industrial economics, and he received his BSc in economics from Queen Mary University. Prior to his MSc, he completed an internship at Deloitte in financial advisory.
