Kanchan has over 15 years’ experience in responsible investment research across various strategies such as exclusions, best-in-class, screenings, impact investing and engagement. In 2017, she founded Sustainometric to offer research and advice to investors, ESG rating agencies and index providers. In the early phase of her career, she instituted and scaled many research operations for some of the most respected index providers. She also consulted and developed ESG methodologies for fund managers and ratings agencies. She holds a master’s degree in business administration with a specialization in finance from Amity Business School.
